William Hay is a Norwegian visual artist based in Oslo. He is known for his expressive, busy and figurative style, employing vivid colours and surrealist motifs. His work echoes the visual language and symbolism of our past, revitalising them through a contemporary visual vernacular.

He is currently working on a full set of Tarot cards, as well as a complementary series of oil paintings, both described elsewhere on the site.
